Guilt can make you feel of regret for your real or imagined misdeeds, both past and present. It makes your consciousness and thoughts really puzzled about you. So I’m going to narrate a little about what guilt can do to you both bad and good.

1. Guilty feeling can make you over responsible always trying to make things right. You’re frequently prepared to do anything from your side to make everyone around you satisfied.

2. Makes you over responsible. You mostly select your action extremely conscientiously as to its possible negative consequences to others. You could even then disregard your own wishes and wants.

3. You become over delicate. You see calls about right and wrong in all sides of your life and become obsessed with the flimsy nature of all of your private actions, words and calls. You are sensitive to the cues of others where any implication of your wrong doing is intimated.

4. Guilt can freeze you, that is, fear gets over you so much that you fear to do anything, saying anything or being wrong that you collapse mentally. As a consequence, you choose inertness maintaining a low status among your pals and family.

5. Distracts you from making any decision because the idea of being right overrides your gourd. You always think about the problem of hurting anybody by your choices.

6. You are hidden by the mask of self denial. Because it is less guilt stimulating to take care of others first, rather than yourself, you hide behind the mask of self denial. You truly believe it’s

miles better to serve others first, not aware that “guilt ” is the motivator for such “generous ” behaviour.

7. It can make you avoid the array of feelings and emotions, that means, overwhelmed by the guilt or fear of it, you block yourself emotionally. That way, you miss both the positive and negative aspects of life.

8. Since you feel guilty, it brings discomfort into your life which you can use to know how to modify your life and get shot of the guilt. So you can call it amotivator as well , depending on the person you are.

9. Because many crazy principles lie behind guilt, you could be unable to handle your sentiments. It’s vital to be objective with yourself when you&’re experiencing guilt ; be sure that your choices are based on sound, sane thinking.

Guilt is a very essential part of our lives and it helps us to learn and discover many significant facets of our life. As discussed above, it can lead us into a new life as well as mislead us into some horrible life making us apart from our beloved ones. Obviously, all the stuff I mentioned do not suit to everyones personality as because there are many who does not realize their deeds. But those that are really good within from their heart, who tries to change the things they should not have done, they go through those phases.
