They’re a popular choice for events in education and business, so are motivational speakers worth it? It really depends on the type of event and the speaker you choose, but they certainly can be.

Being living proof that ‘anyone can do it’ can be a motivation. Their potential lack of authority may mean they aren’t the best choice for corporate events.This doesn’t mean they cannot produce results. The stories such speakers can share can be used at a variety events such as careers fairs and support groups.
Lastly and similarly, sports stars often work as motivational speakers. They often speak of dedication and perseverance which often raise morale. Sports speakers are perhaps the most versatile, proving popular at many events.
